| Mask in China with a long history, and widely spread. As Nuo drama is called “living fossil”, its mask’s historical, cultural value is self-evident. In this paper, Chinese Nuo drama mask is the research object. The Anshun drama mask will be the main line, to compare with its surrounding areas’ Nuo drama mask(Including the province of Guizhou,Hunan, Sichun, Chongqing, Yunnan, the neighboring provinces and cities). And the compare is from the ancient up to now. It is concluded that these masks are different style,but there are some similar in the way of expression. And in some ways, their taste of color is similar too. These “performance” is embodied in the similar on the cultural exchange and fusion between different regions. In addition to the comparative analysis of the Nuo drama mask in modeling, color, etc. This paper will further explore the Nuo drama mask’s decorative taste, and has a special significance in the contemporary society. |
