Since the new century, with high developments of market economy and mass media,popularization tendency of literature booms and becomes a mainstream of the literary.Liuliu keeps up with the popularization trend, she enters into the market initiatively, and makes a conspiracy with mass communication, which produces so-called “Liuliu hot”phenomenon in the contemporary literary. She is a writer with powerful influence, whose novels reflects the existence way of contemporary Chinese novel.This paper chooses Liuliu’s novels as the research object so as to discuss her creation from the popularization vision of literature. This paper argues that her creation process is always full of the thinking way of popular fiction. She regards an efficient way of media marketing as novels’ survival strategy, the creation and promotion of novels are always based on the linkage win-win relationships with network, television and print media,forming an unbreakable cooperation relationship. The content of her work also has strong characteristics of popularization, she chooses social hot spots as novels’ topic, such as ordinary people’s survival predicament and spiritual crisis, women’s self-consciousness and family order, alternative emotional story and so on, which are catering to the current readers reading interest. In order to inspire readers to read, Liuliu makes good use of“contrast” to build the story, with barb, humor and persuasive language to reveal wisdom of life, and build a narrative style that are full of warmth and cruelty.This paper investigates Liuliu’s novels according to popularization, so as to seek new ways that are accurate and objective to judge Liuliu’s creation, as well as draws commentators’ more attention to the change of contemporary novels under the influence of consumerism.
