Recently, the research of the Republic of China’s traditional poetry has been one of the research hot spots. More and more scholars are paying their close attention to this area.But there are still many blanks to be filled.This article will study Ti yuan She, which lasts more than half a century and contains hundreds of members. The members of Ti yuan She have different identity, such as adherents of Qing dynasty, republican officials, university professors, collector and painter,they have made a significant contribution to traditional poetry by their positive enthusiasm and rich works.The introduction is to review the study of traditional poetry in the Republic of China and Ti yuan She, then elaborate research methods and the framework. The thesis is made of four chapters. Chapter one is to study the Social and cultural context of Ti yuan She,describe its history simply to restore their activity tracks for decades. Chapter two is to inspect the members of Ti yuan She. Firstly, this article will study the life activities, impact and contribution on Ti yuan She of Guan Genglin, who is the Central figure of Ti yuan She.Then, this paper will study the overall style of the members of Ti yuan She with the perspective of group. For the convenience of discourse, this article divides the members into Cultural adherent, government officials, literary and art circles, scholars and so on.The third and fourth chapters will inspect literary events of Ti yuan She in different stages,then discourse its gathering case, choice of subject and style characteristics.The remaining section will summarize the overall features of the members and creation of Ti yuan She, and discourse its contact with the Poetry, Ci in End of Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
