| The focus of negation refers to the real items which are be negated in the negation scope. Chinese use negative words "bu" to negate. Because of the difference between Chinese and English language system, Chinese learners are often confused on the negative object when them use negative words. And they even directly apply Ll grammar structure.The studies about negative structure is focused mostly on the ontology study or research of acquisition in second language teaching, seldom take the focus of negation as the starting point to study the acquisition of negative structure. In this paper, referencing to the existing academic achievements, the negative structure is divided into four categories. Through the comparison of Chinese and English, there are similarities and differences in the four types of negative structure. Chinese negative words with the characteristics of [+F], so the focus of negation is usually located in the negative word. In English, the scope of negation in English negative words is relatively large, the focus of negation can be located before or after a negative words, so it is difficult to determine whether the focus.Using "HSK dynamic composition corpus" to collect English students composition corpus, basing on corpus finishing, statistics on the use of four kinds of Chinese negative structures for students whose native language is English in the HSK test, the study found that the students of the four types of negation focus acquisition each are not identical, there are certain acquisition sequence of negative structure: simple thematic verbs of projection, complex negative structure light verb projection of the earliest acquisition, complex structure with negative quantifiers latest acquisition. Considering that Chinese learners to master the language knowledge will take no avoidance strategy we increased the questionnaire survey found that the level of Chinese to students directly affect negation focus learning, especially complex structure with quantitative negation word learning, learners have significantly improved when they reached the high level of Chinese. The results of the study showed that the negative focus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language teaching should pay attention to teaching methods, science textbooks, avoid the negative focus on learners’ language errors. |
