As China is playing a more important role in the world economy, it has more frequent and extensive exchanges with other countries. Meanwhile, China is on its way to become a great shipping country. As we all know that the shipping and maritime industry has boomed China’s economy, China should seize this opportunity and cultivate more talents in this industry. However, because Western countries are superior in this industry, almost all the international maritime regulations and rules are written in English. Thus, the translation of these original materials is significant and must be correct since its quality is directly related to the reader’s understanding and their use of these skills. Besides, because there are the astute logic, quantificational structure, featured sentences and words, especially many long and difficult sentences, the maritime materials can not be translated literally. In the process of translation, the author keeps loyal to the source text and use strategies of sequential method, hysteron proteron, mixture methods as well as deconstruction method to reconstruct sentence subject to the “dynamic equivalent” of Eygene Nida, in order to make the target text correct.
