The Indigenous Studies Of Xie Fuya’s Chung Theology

The indigenous theology holds a central position in thesinicization of Christian theology. This article is to discuss ChungTheologyraised by XieFuya. Xie was a famous Christian and scholar whocmmitted himself to the integration of Chinese and Christian culture. Xie claimed Chung Theology as his academic principle at his seventies. The main research methods of this articlewere documentation method and theoretical analysis method.In this article, various elements of Neutral Theology were discussed, such as its originality, concept of God, Christology, view of life and above all the practice of Sincerity. Based on the discussions, this article demonstrated the essence of Chung Theology and valued its role in indigenous theology.
