Flower have profound sentiment with women.The theme emerge in an endless stream in traditional China and Western painting and contemporary painting.The flower in ancient painter’s mind is not a simple natural scenery.But to express the spirit and the feeling of themself.Western began to flourish in the traditional painting at the time of the small Netherlands painting appeared.The thought of people-centered in Western influenced the status of flowers paintings and effected that flower was just to provide a pleasure to people.Behind of Modernism,the feminism have bagan to flourish,contemporary women paintings were showed from the perspective of physical,sexual,and gender identity.They emphasis more on female consciousness in painting.Flowers are just a organ of plants in the nature.But they have much association with female and sexual.Many contemporary artists like flower and want to expess them. And then everybody accepted flower as object showing to them.This article attempt to start from contemporary flowers with sexual and female. It analyzes the differences between China and West,male and female perspective to observe the performance of the flower painter that have sex consciousness in their flower paintings.and the impact for the author.This article have had four chapters.The first chapter want to describe the comprehensive significance of the topic and research the status both here and abroad,the point and the difficult innovation.The second chapter shows the history and meaning of flower paintings in China and Western. The third chapter focuses on describing flowers from the male,female,China,Western contemporary painters.Different perspectives produce different art forms. each with a consciousness of contemporary artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, luofahui, Cai Jin, who works analysis, from the external manifestation of the spiritual content of the work and its two aspects to elaborate expression vector flower painting as art. The fourth chapter is to show the fate between flower and I, explore from different angles and analyze.
