The development of Chinese animation is a reflection of social change and human psychological develop from the point of social spectrum, its development has experienced double ups and double falls. There is a prominent period in the first peak development, that is the "seventeen years" from the founding of new China to the time before "cultural revolution".Chairman Mao Zedong proposed a guidelines that " kinds of flowers blossom; a hundred schools of thought contend", and "adopt historical things to modern world, adopt foreign experience to Chinese" the "double hundred" policy in 1958, making a loosing atmosphere for Chinese culture, Chinese animation welcomed a bright spring. So, the "Seventeen years" Chinese animation has become a beautiful scenery line in the history of animation industry in China. In 2011, there was a study about the previous theoretical thoughts among the domestic researches, film, literature study in the seventeen years are fruitful but the animation theory research is relatively poor. Therefore the academia put the theoretical study of animation on important subject of current research. It is necessary to return to the "seventeen years" and review the glorious period of the animation and its narrative art. But it is obvious to meet the political discourse and the social ideology in that period.Based on the collection and arrangement of a large amount of the document literature, The author arranges the work type and form, then,from the perspective of narrative intervention to discusses its characteristics in narration; Mainly embodied in the following aspects:1. By analyzing the works and the literature, the author found that the generation of "seventeen years" Chinese animation is not an accidental phenomenon,but an inevitable product of history.It showed audio-visual diversified,the fine arts modeling with strong ethnic flavor,they combined to form the features of Chinese animation,Gain high reputation in the world,meanwhile, "Chinese animation school" got prominent achievements.2. Analyze from the narrative theme, "seventeen years" is "an age when group is the most important", it advocated the revolutionary heroic sacrifice spirit, spoke highly of the new life in new China. It excavated the beauty of the race and human.3. Learn from the animation narration content of folk stories, myths and legends, fairy tales and fables, no matter in which way to show, it can’t avoid the influence from political aspect in word and from ideology.During the "Seventeen years", Chinese animation mainly stand in the position of the party and the state, using "storytellers" model and single sequential, repeatedly type, paratactic type and other structures to show the narrative content.4. Analyze from the narrative semiotic perspective, the most obvious visual symbols of "seventeen years" Chinese animation are traditional national image and unique ethnic music.traditional ink painting, paper cutting, puppetry, shadow play traditional opera and folk opera music are the symbols of national audio-visual.Finally, by analyzing historical data, the author collate the Chinese animation work table from 1949—1966,the per year production of animation int the seventeen years and the animation type chart, etc.combine kinds of material and draw relative theory about animation narration, hoping to bring some enlightenment in modern time. Nowadays the animation pursuit commercial effort and visual spectacle, making the art show thin. The author looks forward to devoting something to the development of the animation creation and theory through the demonstration of the "seventeen years" Chinese animation narrative art.
