Objectives: Hope that through this study on college students’ use of impression management strategies in social network analysis, to understand the analysis of impression management strategies of college students about his image in the social network to establish what effect, and the impression of rich management and social psychology discipline theory has certain help. The purpose of the research are: first, through empirical research, understand the basic situation of the college students in social networking, analysis the influence of various factors on the finishing impression management strategies and differences on the impact; Second, understand the different types of self-monitoring and relationship between impression management strategies in social networking; Third, extension, the related research in the field of impression management, and make it not just confined to the workplace, enrich the content of the research on college students’ psychological and social network related.Methods: Refer to previous research results and related theory information collection, to form the idea of this study. Random selection interview college students, through the interview to understand college students the impression management strategies in social network use, with the method of interview to collect related information, the collection for the questionnaire compiled by the entry of information filtering. A questionnaire by random sampling and recycling, 215 students in a university in zhengzhou city as the research object, used to collect study data. The former questionnaire should be divided into three parts, the first part is the basic information; The second part is the self-monitoring scale; The third part of the social network related use behavior scale. Use SPSS to analyze the data, through the description of sample statistics, reliability test, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, correlation analysis and regression analysis, the summary analysis, it is concluded that the results of the survey.Conclusions: Through empirical research and analysis, our research mainly has the following conclusions: 1. Based on a sample of the use of demographic characteristics and social networking features are different, the self-monitoring ability and the effect of the use of impression management strategies in the social network is a difference. 2. Self-monitoring can use of impression management strategy in the social network has significant effect:(1) high self-monitoring of impression management tactics in the social network has a significant effect;(2) the people oriented self-monitoring impression management has a significant effect in the social network;(3) self-directed self-monitoring has significantly effect on impression management in social network. 3. The college students on social networking sites initiative management strategies used in more than a passive defensive strategy and fuzzy generalization of impression management. 4. Through the objective and subjective viscosity viscosity of statistics, college students can be found on social networks has produced a strong dependence.
