Lyrics in Republic of China,inheriting the creation atmosphere of School Music and initiating popular pop in China after 1949,forming a unique aesthetic aura. It carries people’s joys and sorrows and presents the social outlook and emotional character of this particular historical period. In 38 years time, generations of songwriters wrote thousands of cheerful works of artistic appeal,ranging from singing praise for natural home and ode to their love to the cry out for the society and the times,when it is described by the songwriters into the words,times hail for it.At the moment, although the songs research of the Republic of China has made some achievements, but most are from the perspective of the music composer. There will be very little research priorities focus on the lyrics itself to explore its intrinsic poetic. In fact, the lyrics as a separate category of art has many values. It is the same root and poetry, poetry is therefore the soul through the art of lyric text, but also the aesthetic benchmark tasting lyrics. This paper attempts to explore to get the poetic connotation of Republic of China by rhetoric, poetic mood and thinking in three areas.Both the beauty of the rhetoric and mood and sprout of the philosophizing,all present the poetic heart and poetry of anthors in the turbulent years. In fact, lyrics record course of life and social change, the significance of Republic of China lyrics is to perceive the loss and awakening of the generation and poetic and frustration of an era.
