In recent years, more and more foreigners come to China to study, work and life as the "Chinese fever". Many foreigners are learning Chinese for different purposes. The study found that learning motivation is an important factor of the Chinese language acquisition.With an increasing number of foreign students and the vigorous development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the study of foreign students Chinese language learning motivation also caused the extensive concern of academic discussion.This article is based on American psychologist Edward 1. Deci and Richard m. Ryan, put forward the theory about the process of human decision behavior of motives of empirical research on learning motivation. This study used a predominantly questionnaire in a variety of research methods, as sample from Anhui university’s school of international education students, and use SPSS 19.0 software to study on the comprehensive analysis of survey data.First of all, in the process of investigation, Anhui university students overall motivation to investigate and analyze the internal differences in learners’ learning motivation.Then, we are compared learners of Sinosphere and the non-Sinosphere self-determination motivation according to the survey results this paper summarizes and analysis problem, puts forward corresponding suggestions on practical teaching.The following is the main conclusions of the survey:The First, the Sinosphere students and the non-Sinosphere students all have a greater intrinsic motivation than extrinsic motivation. Sinosphere students have a stronger Self-determination motivation than non-Sinosphere students. The Second, Stimulation motivation of Sinosphere students is strongest, Knowledge motivation of non- Sinosphere students is weakest. The Third, the differences of motivation of Sinosphere and non-Sinosphere students were influenced by their age, gender, class, learning Chinese time, HSK expectations. The Fourth,Anhui university students generally strong self-determination motivation, intrinsic motivation than extrinsic motivation, non-motivation is weak. The Fifth,20-30 old years students motivation is strongest in Chinese learning; Advanced students motivation is strongest in Chinese learning; 1-3 years of foreign students learning motivation is strongest. The Sixth, in the Chinese language learning motivation strength:boys>girls; The students who want to join the HSK test >the students who do not want to join the HSK test; The seventh, Stimulation motivation of Anhui university students is strongest, introjected regulation motivation is weakest.
