In other world.historical determinism is refers to the theory that the historical process decided by historical causality, regularity hist orical inevitability.However.sine the date of birth of Marx’s historical determinism, on Marx’s historical determinism attacks can be heard without end,While most of t he attacks are biased, but there are also some worthy of our reflection.This paper take the attack Popper to Marx as the breakthrough point to analyze the Popper’ s critique of Marx historical determinism.The first part of this article analyses the view of the humanism philosophy and positivism philosophy to historical determinism. Humanism see the important role of irrational factors in the social life, excessively emphasis on man’s dynamic role and made it lost its historical restriction, cancel the core position of the historical regularity in the historical research, finally toward voluntarism and historical indeterminism. Positivism studies social and historical phenomenon by using the method of natural science. Although it has a clear definition of laws, but equating the social phenomenon to the natural phenomenon, and canceling the value measure of social historical phenomenon, seeking the pure and abstract rules, and denying the socially historical attribute of regularity and the initiative of human make positivism eventually towards to mechanical historical determinism and history determinism, dooms it unable to reveal the social and historical laws.In the second part of this article. Popper will distort the historical determinism of economy from Marxist historical determinism and make critics. He proposed that it’s not the economy deciding minds, but minds deciding economy and social development. Begin from the basis of that social consciousness decides social existence, he regards scientific knowledge as the decisive factor of social progress. But Popper enhances too much the position of science knowledge in social development.The third part emphasizes the historical determinism and the history of Marx Popper on the opposite is non core problem of historical law.
