The Research On Shanhaijing’ Indication And Characters Of Thinking

Shanhaijing as reserves the most ancient fables and tales of the pre-qin ancient books, because of its content is bizarre、rich and complex, have the research characteristics extremely. Although indication in shanhaijing don’t occupy the main position, because its imagination is rich and strange, it still full of original thinking characteristics, has a greatly ideological and cultural value, particularly be worthy of further exploration.Indication have been article 54 recorded on the mountain portion of the shanhaijing. In this article, I analysis the shanhaijing’ indictions through content analysis, mathematical statistics, literature search and other methods. First, divided the types of indication. Second, explored the causes of indication. Then, deeper researched the hominid’s mind and characteristics of thinking.The first chapter of shanhaijing indication. Indication be summarized for natural disaster signs, and man-made signs, auspicious signs from the specific content. And do concrete analysis of three types. The study found that the indication things’animal prototype is a common thing which is known as the animals in the around world. I found that from animal’prototype to monster exist deformation process, and further explored the deformation reason.The chapter II is causes of indications. From the three aspects which is the need of survival instincts, the desire to control the mysterious force, the thirst for knowledge to explain specifically causes of the indication.The third Chapter of thinking and characteristics of indication. Indication reflected the thinking of primitive, which is called original thinking. The original thinking refers to ways of the human thinking in early, contrary to the modern sense of "logic". The thinking was dominated by the law of mutually infiltrates which is through hominids’ mysterious and emotional "collective representation". It focused on the mystery and had characters of infiltration and group.The conclusions of this paper is that indication was used to judge good or ill luck and predict the future. Indication was practical tools. I didn’t agree that indication wassuperstition. Indication was cognitive style of primitive people, which is different from the modern scientific rational cognitive styles. It was original, simple, rough cognitive style which under the control of the "mysterious force",but that doesn’t mean is wrong and no logic behind it. As awakening of primitive consciousness, such the way of understanding was necessary, and accorded with the prevailing social conditions and historical background.
