The Influence Of Processing The Implicit Dynamicinformation In Sentence On Moral Vocabulary Classification Task

This study investigates that the implicit dynamic vertical spatial information in sentence processing impact on the moral vocabulary classification tasks through four experiments. In Experiment 1, participants are asked tojudge the moral vocabulary after the sentence which implies dynamic vertical spatial information. The results demostrates that: For moral words,participants react faster under the condition of the sentence implied the spatial information of up-down, For immoral words,the reaction have no difference neither the conditon of up-down nor down-up.The result appear a mismatched facilitation of " moral-down ". In Experiment 2, from the angle of the end position information of the sentence, we explore the cause of the phenomenon of mismatched facilitation and test whether the reason is the position information of sentence. The result is agree with experiment 1. In Experiment 3,from the angle of the start position information of the sentence,we investigate the influence of sentence position information to the moral vocabulary classification tasks. As a result, for immoral words, participants react faster under the condition of the sentence implied the spatial information of up-down; for immoral words, subjects react no significant difference neither the condition of up-down nor the down-up. The result reflects the metaphor congruency effect of " immoral- down ". In Experiment 4, the influence of the impliciting the dynamic vertical spatial information in sentence on moral vocabulary classification tasks is explored under the condition of moral delay presentation. An agreement with results of the experiment 3. The results told that:(1) In moral vocabulary and sentence processing,both the position and dynamic vertical spatial information in sentence in the sentence could impact the moral vocabulary classification tasks;(2) The position information in sentence raise Competitive effect and dynamic vertical spatial information raise priming effect;(3) Competitive effect is stronger between The position information in sentence and moral words process, priming effect is stronger role between dynamic vertical spatial information and immoral words.
