Teenagers are the future of our motherland, junior middle school is a key period of learning. How to make the junior middle school students better adapt to the school life plays an important role to the junior middle school students’mental health. This study focuses on the parenting style this external environment factors and resilience this internal factors which influence the school adaptation. For one hand, it can enrich the former researches; on the other hand,it can lay a theoretical foundation for the further researches about this area.450 questionnaires were sent out, and 431 valid ones were retrieved in Zhuyuanzhen middle school in Chongqing, the effective rate was 97.5%.Through the ways of literature analysis, questionnaires, research and correlation analysis, regression analysis and other scientific empirical methods to explore the relationship of parenting style, resilience and school adaptation.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Father’s parenting style significant differences in grade. The score of grade 3 is lower than grade 1 and grade 2 in father’s emotional warmth, the score of grade 3 is higher than grade 2 in father’s rejection.2.There is a significant difference between mother’s parenting style and father’s parenting style, the score of mothers’ is higher than the fathers’.3.The interpersonal assist of resilience significant differences in gender, the score of female is higher than male. Resilience significant differences in grade, the score of grade 1 is higher than grade 3 in focused target dimension; the score of grade 1 is higher than grade 2 and 3 in emotional control; the score of grade 1 is higher than grade 3 in resilience.4. School adaptation significant differences in gender except the dimension of companion relationship, the score of female is higher than male. The research of the school adaptation difference in age show that:the score of grade 1 is higher than grade 2 and 3 in school attitudes; the score of grade 3 is lower than grade 1 and 2 in relationship with teacher; the score of grade 3 is higher than grade 1 and 2 in academic adaptation.5. The resilience of junior students in residence had significant negative correlation with father overprotection and parents rejection, had significant positive correlation with parents’ emotional warmth. Regression analysis showed that mother rejection had significant negative prediction to children’s resilience, father emotional warmth had significant positive prediction to children’s resilience.6. Parents’ rejection had significant negative relation with school adaptation, patents’ emotional warmth had significant positive relation with school adaptation, mother overprotection had significant negative relation with school adaptation. Regression analysis showed that father emotional warmth had significant positive prediction to school adaptation, mother overprotection had significant negative prediction to school adaptation.7. The score of resilience had significant positive correlation with the score of school adaptation. Regression analysis showed that the resilience dimension of interpersonal assist, emotional control, target focused had significant positive prediction to students’ school adaptation.8. The resilience is the full mediation between parenting style and school adaptation.
