Artistic Research On The Relief Sculpture Of The Liao Tower In Western Liaoning

The relief sculpture of the Liao tower is formed a unique flash point in China sculpture art history, and leaves the precious material and cultural wealth for future generations. But in history few sculpture research literature appeared. Through the study of art sculpture on the Liao tower, Liao tower is clear as sculpture art value, which provides source of creation for art of sculpture. In this paper, the main research object is the relief art of Liao tower, the characteristics of the Liao tower statues art was studied.The distribution in western Liaoning Province Liao tower was investigated and analyzed, the research on the Liao tower at home and abroad was discussed, and the research significance of the Liao tower relief was described. Art particularity of western Liaoning Liao tower relief was researched, and the relief arts are analyzed in detail according to historical conditions and geographical factors. The Liao tower relief art style was elaborated, and the tower foot, the tower and the tower body on the Liao tower relief were carried out a detailed comparative analysis according to the Liao tower in the Liaoning area distribution and the construction of age. Uniqueness of the characteristics and art style about Liao tower relief was expounded, the development of the Liao tower relief art style and form were analyzed from the specific historical conditions and unique geographical and cultural fusion and the surrounding area. The research analysis to the artistic value of the Liao tower relief was carried on.In this thesis the Liao tower relief art was comprehensively researched. By investigation, research and analysis of the current Liaoning Liao pagodas relief, the artistic feature of the Liao Dynasty pagoda was obtained, in order to study the Liao tower in modeling design of beauty and architectural detail decoration carved value. The relief art value has reference significance to study Buddhist architectural art development history and to create new methods of architectural decorative art.
