Objective To survey the incidence of suicidal ideation and related factors of collegestudents in Ningxia; To apply the cognitive behavioral group therapy for suicidal ideation anddesign program.Methods By multistage cluster random sampling method,3050students whorandomly selected from fifteen universities was surveyed in aspects of general, suicidalideation,depression,anxiety,personality,social support and other aggressive behavior; Asresearch subjects100students were randomly divided into the study group and the controlgroup,the study group received cognitive behavioral group therapy,treatment was evaluated.Results1.The incidence of suicidal ideation in Ningxia was7.10%.There were significantdifference for professional satisfaction(P<0.05).2.The suicidal ideation group was significant difference in SCL-90’ each factor,neuroticism,Buss and Perry attacked the Chinese version of the questionnaire scores thanthose without suicidal ideation(P<0.01);Logistic multivariate analysis showedthat:professional dissatisfaction, the nuclear family, relationships,depression,neuroticism,physical aggression and so on were influencing factors for suicidal ideation.3.There was no significant difference in suicidal ideation self-rating scale (SIOSS) scoreat before and after treatment. At the end of treatment, the study group has significantly lowerscores than the control group on SIOSS,The Automatic Thoughts Questinonnaire,Copingstyle, SCL-90,interpersonal comprehensive diagnosis (Ps<0.05).Conclusion 1.College students’ suicidal ideation were related to professional dissatisfaction,basicprofessional satisfaction, depression, neuroticism, physical aggression and so on;interpersonal relationships and openness were protective factor;change depression reducesuicide.2. After the group cognitive behavioral intervention, suicidal ideation group has changedin negative cognitive model, withdrawn behavior or avoidance behavior, solving problemskills and mental health were improved.
