In a great number of factors that affect the results of second languageacquisition, cognitive style is one of the key factors that influence thesecond language learners to success. Field independence and fielddependence is an important dimension of cognitive style.In this paper, it used empirical methods and case tracking survey, toresearch the two groups of South Korean students learning Chinese both inindividual instruction (tutoring) and a mass teaching classroom. Firstly, itasks these students to do EFT respectively to make sure their qualitativecognitive style types, and then makes a relativity analysis on theirperformance in the classroom as well as relevant language test results.At last, it found out that the field cognitive style in differentclassroom environment can influence on second language acquisition in adifferent way; under its influence, the learning behavior of learners andlearning effect in different classroom environment is also imparity. |
