Thailand’s Impression:the Series Of Poster Design

This article is a combination of the principles of visual communication, visual flow, and printmaking techniques that together conduct the design called Thailand’s Impression:The Series of Poster Designs. This article is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction to the subject content, sources and literature review, in which the theoretical research literature review includes research on the city’s image, visual order theory, visual theory and design practice aspects of the process. The second part of Thai culture explores the main characteristics of the study about Thai culture and cultural heritage. The third part shows the designs for positioning, outlining the formation of the main research design concepts, design and planning as well as prints, and a series of poster designs that contains a four-section analysis; the fourth part being the focus of this research. Thailand has a long history full of cultural diversity, Buddhist faith and special prominent etiquette customs. Thailand also has very unique visual language symbols such as:architectural symbols of Thailand, unique color symbols, traditional Thai patterns and Thai Buddhist custom symbols. This design practice "Thailand Impressions:The Series of Poster Designs", is based on the principle of visual flow along with other visual principles and uses printmaking techniques."Thailand Impressions:The Series of Poster Designs" covers these aspects:"Thai Buddhist Culture","Thai Folk Culture", and "Cultural Festival in Thailand". These three aspects of Thai impressions give in-depth discussions and analysis. Thailand Impression series posters are essential factors of Thai cultural elements, such as:Architectural features, unique color visual language, traditional patterns, and Thai Buddhist customs as basic elements.
