Originally, YanYuan believed in the School of Lu-Wang and Cheng-Zhu. Withthe destroyed of the Ming Dynasty, the internal disintegration of theNeo-Confucianism, the germination of commodity economy and his experience ofpain, he walked out the Neo-Confucianism’s barriers,and became a significancemember of the trend of reflection in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On the basis of theprofound reflection on Zhu Neo-Confucianism, and established a system which taking“XiXing” as the core philosophy. Succeeding and initiating blossomed a new Schoolfor himself.In the first place,the article analysis the reasons why YanYuan made the secondthought on Zhu Neo-Confucianism from external environment to internal factors. Inthe second place,from the core proposition of Confucian “Ke Ji Fu Li Wei Ren” tostate YanYuan how to make the second thought on Zhu the orthodoxy of Dao。InYanYuan’view,the meaning of the proposition is active play yourself to practice thetrue spirit of “ritual”, back to Zhou(after Confucius abandon and absorb Zhou) andthen, the world will belong to “Ren”. Zhu was deeply affected by Fou and Shi, heinterprets the proposition which aims to promote academic thinking and Orthodoxyposition, rather than passed on by Confucius. And then, expound the reflection of thetheory of Human Nature. According to the theory of human nature which the principleof heaven good, the temperament of evil, Zhu put forward the Proposition of “Keepthe Celestial Law Existence, Extinguish the Human’s Desire”, advocates principleopposes to desire, benevolence system benefit,public out private,making a thoroughinquiry on respect, self-denial to desire. YanYuan from the origin of the theory toreflect, puts forward that Li and Qi are compatible, and human nature is originalgoodness, evil comes from learning, making the benevolence as benefit, attainingprivate to public, the accomplishment work of practicing the best of human’s nature,“XiXing” to gover and conduct the world. Then,to discuss the theory of AchievingKnowledge from “Investigate Things to Extend Knowledge”. YanYuan deems that“Xing” has priority, it more important than “Zhi”. In order to relieve the people,cultivate talents, he explains “Investigate Things to Extend Knowledge” from thepractical level, and makes an relation between “Zhi” and “XiXing”, and puts theschool of “SanShi”、“SanWu” of Yao, Shun, Yu into it. In the last place, given thepertinent valuation from the two aspects which is the historical significance and deficiencies.
