Monographic Study On The Hunan Literati Of The Mid-ming Influenced By Li Dongyang

Li Dongyang had obtained great achievements in literature as the literary leaderduring the reign of Chenghua and Hongzhi, and impacted on the Mid-Ming Hunanliterati greatly. The Mid-Ming Hunan literati were inherited and developed more fromLi Dongyang, Hunan literature into a new stage.Peng Minwang who was a poetrymate of Li Dongyang and a periphery of the Chaling school poet in You Xian, HeMengchun who was a student of Li Dongyang and a core member of the Chalingschool in Chen Zhou, and Zhang Zhi who was the official in Imperial Academy and acountryman of Li Dongyang were deeply influenced by Li Dongyang.Peng Minwang and Li Dongyang are poetry mate. Peng Minwang got help fromLi Dongyang when in trouble, They missed each other when they were separated andencouraged each other with Li Dongyang like brothers in their daily lives.Theirpoetics and writing in poetry was impacted by the frequent communications betweenthem. Peng Minwang accepted the view of Li Dongyang to some extent, especially inpoetics that learning from Tang and Yuan Dynasty poet, and poetry should express thetrue feelings.They approved that we should learn from Li Du Wang Meng,Han Yuand Ma Boyon. He inherited and developed the poetry learning concept of Li Dongyangwho respected for Tao Yuanming and loved poems of Tang Dynasty, and followed onSong and Yuan Dynasty. and had some difference in the learning concept. HeMengchun developed the idea of the combination of officialdom and landscape,which was showed up as the integration of reality and landscape, especially landscape.He created many frontier fortress poems, in which he expanded Chaling Junta’spoetry theme to the remote areas in the west, and formed his own special feature.Zhang Zhi who followed on Li Dongyang at Imperial Academy accepted morethe politic-library culture since Li Dongyang, and leaded an article claim based on thesituation, literati and individuality for following the example of Ou Yangxiu and SuShi, in which been reflected in his articles was emphasized,and emphasizes the studyof Confucian classics and put into practice. He had inherited the tendency of writingwhich was in officialdom and heart in the landscape, and reflected in Yingzhi poems, social poems and landscape poetry. In the variational world of poetry, Zhang Zhiformed his learning claim which was paid attention to extensively study and fusetogether.
