Religious Documents Of Yao People

Religion is inherited by religious written documents. As carrier, religiousdocuments make the communication of Yao religionmore effective. The previousstudies about Yao religious documents, early in the episode, a small amount ofanalysis in recent years. This paper uses anthropological field research method toinvestigate religious documents among a pan Yao village in northern area ofGuangxi, tries to present pan Yao religious documents general situation from theperspective of religious documents and culture environment, development history,basic forms, access to documents and ritual act, thought connotation. Pan-Yaoreligious document is an important civil document, which represents the folkliterature language, ethics morals and custom, history of migration, religioussources, and other information, and can improve the Yao religious understanding,and promote the importance of Yao folk literature and the protection of intangiblecultural heritage.
