In recent years, Zheshang television plays has caused widespread concern in the community. This kind of drama depends on the cultural medias such as TV, which with its peculiar zheshang image for the material and zheshang spirit as the cultural resources, combines with narrative structure and aesthetic experience of teleplay creation, presents zheshang’s, who as China’s first major business, economic behavior and ethics during the process of doing business, reproduces and constructs the zheshang’s entrepreneurial legend and the value of human nature. The vigorous development of zheshang drama, in a manner of speaking, is not only the context of the new Chinese drama creation of demand, but also the social ethical system back to the era of demand. This article based on narrative theory, used economic perspective as the starting point of explanation, selected the new century’s zheshang dramas as the research texts to mirror comb and narrative analysis.This article mainly divides into five parts:in the first part, we first comb the development of zheshang television plays. Through the longitudinal comparison of image text, we could conclude that the age characteristics:in the early1990s, the materials put the attention on the economic events after Reform and Opening, which had practical significance; Since the new century, this kind of plays began to enhance the narrative and the plasticity in the image creation, which enriched zheshang television plays. In the second part, we expounds the plays text narration background, zheshang event arrangement, and the change of economic participation of emotional values economic characteristics, to grasp the economic narrative strategy of macro trend of zheshang television plays:mainly from the economic perspective and economic discourse to analysis. As a commercial television plays, economy is an essential element to the text construction, in zheshang television plays, the development of the story tightly stick to the historical background of the economic depression and economic change, make the narrative theme into the specific things and in daily life, then become a unique perspective of narration; At the same time, the narrative context filled with economic figures, economic policy and economic terms, conveys full-bodied economic color, which made it became the one of the labels show different from other types of TV plays. The story character and character is the power of relationship. Article, therefore, in the third part mainly elaborated the economic characters of relationship of structural changes, then concluded the affect element--begin with the economy, end in ethics. Persons’economic consciousness, economic behavior and economic pressures, will be influence events and important force in the fate of the characters. Not only that, economic element is also bear the catalyst function, accelerate or weaken the character’s relationship. And the analysis of the relevant action element reveals the economic character in the narrative, clears the variability and invariability between the characters and the character relationships in the story development, finally clarify the causality between economy and character’s behavior. In the fourth part, we analyze the economic narrative space. Mainly combining with the characteristics of zhejiang merchants business, respectively from the globalization of transboundary narrative space-three zhejiang (native of zhejiang, zhejiang province, zhejiang overseas), and by the plot turning point in the economic narrative-Chenghui, hometown association to analysis, which could real restore the context of a certain zheshang’s survival circumstances and social consciousness. In the fifth part of the article, we mainly discuss three economic narrative modes in zheshang television plays:separation-reunion model, rebellious-back model, bankruptcy-success model. In the story, the gather and separation of characters relations and the story clues, the department and return of characters’ trajectory, the economic activities of regurgitation feeding behavior, the economic behavior of starting from scratch, etc., clarify the way of narrative of zheshang television plays, which made the difference TV works reflect the general rules, clear the creative characteristics and text construction of the television plays.
