A Translation Project Report Of The Plan Of The Central Plains Economic Region (Chapter7to Chapter12)

This paper is a translation project report. The source text is the last six chapters of The Plan of theCentral Plains Economic Region (from Chapter7to Chapter12). The text mainly introduces thedevelopment of science, education, culture and health care in the central plains; it also makes a concreteplan for the regional economic cooperation and the agricultural development in this area. During thisChinese-English translation project, the author tries to put the translation theory for better use into practice,and to improve the translating abilities. This report can be divided into four parts: the first part is theintroduction of the translation project, including the background, aim, meanings and structure of thisproject. The second part is the theoretical basis, explaining the theory structure and analyzing the maincontents of the source text. The third part mainly introduces how to apply the translation theory and thetranslating skills in the translation. The fourth part is the summary of this report, including the experienceand lessons during the translation.
