As we all know, a lot of things have done while we were young. Behavior andpersonality have been determined at birth. Children`s psychological healthy is becoming moreand more important. But parents in China neglect the psychological abuse usually.Psychological abuse on children is very extensive, especially have great effect on the socialcognition. With the research on children’s cognitive development, childhood abuse influenceon social cognitive development more than general cognitive development. The study`s objectis to show the psychological abuse children`s insufficient of social cognitive, and to providetheoretical basis for the future research.This study combines the questionnaire and experimental method. First we use 《ChildPsychological Abuse Scale》to investigate835children`s condition. Then we measure60children’s social cognition by using three groups of between-subjects design, respectivelyfrom the three aspects of social perception, attribution and social attitudes.The research draws the following conclusions:(1) Psychological abuse is widelydistributed in childhood. The psychological abuse children are more than half in the totalnumber of seven grade. In the other grades, the proportion is more than40%. Psychologicalabuse type is uneven distribution in childhood. The distribution of intimidation is the mostcommon type.(2) Psychological abuse score has no significant differences in sex.(3)Psychological abuse positive group is significantly higher than the scores of children abuseabuse negative children.(4) Psychological abuse positive group of children’s social perceptiontends to be negative self–evaluation. Psychological abuse positive group of children’s tend touse negative attributions. Psychological abuse positive group of children have more negativesocial attitudes with parents words.
