Young China Association is one of the maximum number,the greatest impact,the most serious youth differentiated societies in May Fourth period. It attaches greatimportance to the issue of women’s liberation, to create the ideal "Young China"Women, therefore it actively participate in the May Fourth period theoreticaldiscussion on the issue of women’s liberation, and push the process of theemancipation of women in the May Fourth period in practice.Young China Association put two monthly " Young China " and " Youth of theworld " as the main position to explore the issue of women’s liberation, not onlyopened up several"women" special issue, showing concern and actively explorationforwomen’s liberation, and invited Dewey and his wife to discuss the issue ofwomen’s liberation. The discussion of Association members on the issue of women’sliberation has a certain ideological foundation and realitical sources. In theideological basis, members in China by the then widespread ideas includingdemocracy, education Salvation theory, anarchism and Marxism impact on women’sliberation issues and countries around the world on the history and current status ofthe women’s movement in-depth study and learn. In the realitical sources, membersare encouraged by the countries of the world women’s movement and to stimulateZhao Wuzhen suicide and Lie events. Association explored many issues on women’semancipation,basically encompasses the hot issues in the May Fourth Movement,included the main way to implement the emancipation of women, men and womenequality in education, marriage and family reform, women’s personal independence,women economic independence and so on. On the way to implement theemancipation of women, members began to be affected by Salvation on education,advocating women’s education from the start, and later influenced by Marxism, andthink to change the social system is the fundamental way to achieve theemancipation of women, we can say they found the right way to solute women’sissues. Equality between men and women in terms of education, the Instituteadvocates a top-down approach, the university opened the forbidden on women toachieve equality of education as a breakthrough. In terms of family and marriagereform, members presented the freedom of marriage, marriage revolution, theabolition of marriage in three different levels of rehabilitation programs and the establishment of single-family marriage system, the implementation of thechildren’s public education, repealing family three scenarios for the future of thefamily. In addition, members strongly criticized the feudal ethics, calling the womanpersonal independence, proposed to achieve economic independence of womenfrom education and eradication of private ownership approach to start. Moreover,the Institute also organized a women’s work Mutual Aid Group, and activelypromote open female university ban at that time had a significant social impact, andpromote the process of the emancipation of women from the practice of the MayFourth Movement.
