During the Second Sino-Japanese War, the national government army oncedeployed a number of regular army behind the enemy lines to carry out guerrillas ona large scale,and established several amount of solid guerrilla zone (base)one afteranother. Among which,the fifth guerrilla area of yuwane opened by the21st armywas included.In order to make a long adherence of the anti-Japanese war behindenemy lines,the army and the people,who were lead by the general in power,conducting a series of productive construction on politics、economic and military. Onthis basis, the21st army crushed the Japanese "mop-up" on a large scale. And with apositive campaign, threatening of ping-han line,jin-pu railway road and the Yangtzeriver water transportation, greatly restrain the Japanese action in north of Hunan andwest of Hubei, made contribution to the final victory of the Anti-JapaneseWar.Holding political and military power in guerrilla zone, for their own interests,however, the new gui clique broke out a fierce political conflict against the forces ofdemocratic progress of guerrilla zone within the cc system. The conflict madenegetive influence on the cooperation and anti-japanese situation among allparties. On the basis of collecting relevant data in detail, the article will list everyperiod of constructions on politics、economic and military,and military activity aswell as the relationship among the parties,and restore the original history of theguerrilla area and make a realistic evaluation about the truth.
