On contemporary Chinese literature, WangShuo is a special existence with so-me meaning and literary value. Both "the sound and the fury" which is causedby the “playboy” WangShuo’s "riffraff literature" and declining sigh brought by"post WangShuo" in the new century,which actively or passively involved i-n the construction of contemporary literary history of integrity and openness, andoccupies an important a space for one person. Before the new century, the stud-y about WangShuo and his woks is mainly around ridicule, irony, colloquial a-nd rebellion in the text, outside of the text, WangShuo is analyzed as a literar-y phenomenon or cultural event under the popular culture, consumer culture, a-nd commercial writing.After the new century, wangshuo’s novel is about thereading of personal life experience and the spirit world, instead of treating lifeas a game. Why WangShuo changed his style, what have taken place in hiscreation idea, and what the change means for the new century,these questionsare worthy of our in-depth analysis. But the current academic circles to WangShuo’s creative transformation little discussion. Adopting the research methods o-f comparative research, comprehensive research, classification, and text analysis c-ombined literature research, from the perspective of narratology, literary psychology, the paper analyzes mainly and deeply WangShuo’s later novels compared wit-h his early works in the light of development.This thesis has three parts. The first chapter analyzes the creation idea from"writing for the readers "to" writing for himself", and compared the narrative modesof the portrayal of characters, the narrative language features, narrative perspective,narrative tone between the late novels and the early ones. The second chapter is theemphasis in this paper, and analyzes the transformation in content based on narrativeanalysis in the previous chapter: analyzing the return to "pure literature"from the perspective of betraying the mass culture and improving the literary aestheticconsciousness; analyzing the return to human rationality from the construction of thecomplex human and spiritual world of life and research to the ultimate problem aboutdeath; analyzing the return to traditional life values which include family ethics, love,survival of the human predicament and traditional culture of Confucianism, Buddhism,Daoism. The third chapter studies the value and significance of WangShuo’s creativetransformation for literature in the background of the new century literature.
