In the corporate CIS strategic design system, VI in visual identity design is the part that possesses the most transmission power and appealing power. VI in English stands for Visual Identity, which is a constituent part of CIS. CIS is composed of three parts, which are idea identification, behavioral identification and visual identification. Visual identification is to transform abstract and nonvisual content into static visual identification symbols, and performs effective transmission in rich and varied forms of application. To design a visual identification (VI) system with accurate and precise language is an effective approach in the transmission of corporate operation idea, building corporate publicity, and shaping corporate image. In today’s brand marketing, an enterprise without visual identity design means that its product image does not have any personality, and its brand lacks competence. The visual identity design of Yunnan Puerh Hulintang Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. is composed of a basic part and the applicatioon elements. The basic part includes enterprise name, enterprise logo, logo font, special print, standard color, enterprise emblem assisting pattern, and specification combination of the elements.This article talks about the study and design based on the case of visual identity design of Yunnan Puerh Hulintang Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. At first, a comprehensive and systematic collection about Hulintang was performed, including its basic status, enterprise philosophy, and value view. In order to make my design embody the company’s culture and spirit at the maximum extent, through survey, consultation and data compilation of multiple times, I communicated with the company head many times, investigated and performed systematic analysis to market and the industry, and finally produced scores of proposals. After research and arrangement, I determined to take the MI part of the core philosophy identity of the company’s brand as the dominant, take the BI part of behavioral identity as the extension, and perform new and accurate graphic expression creation mainly based on the visual identity(VI) part. Based on the basic principle of VI design, combined on enterprise characteristics, national and regional characteristics of Puerh etc., I carried out research and investigation. And during the practicing process, I performed accurate and precise refinement to the design elements, based on natural ecology, forests, and plant shapes, found out visual graphic language that suit the industry property of Hulingtang biotech and R&D, and determined the initial VI planning for Yunnan Puerh Hulintang Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. To take satisfaction of staff health, happiness, and success as a goal and bring clients all-natural products and health becomes a new bright point of the perfect combination of life science and art of living; take this as the BI part of Hulingtang and extend unlimitedly.
