On C-E Translation Of Relic Documents In Jingzhou From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

With the rapid development of tourism industry, tourism has become an important industry which leads the local economy. A kind of culture tourism is to visit the local culture as the main purpose of tourism projects. With the rapid development of jingzhou city economic construction, Jingzhou ancient city culture and foreign cultural exchanges also gradually increased, and the Jingzhou as a historic city, the unearthed cultural relics are also attracted many tourists at home and abroad.Its purpose lies in spreading and inheriting the national cultural relic translation of the cultural heritage, is of great significance, should be enough attention. Cultural relics are withdrawing funds from material and spiritual civilization of human history development. Therefore, the traditional translation strategy may not adapt to the cultural relics, this article from the perspective of cultural translation skopos theory and its standards and policies, and proposes the culture orientation and the target language oriented translation strategies. From the perspective of skopos theory, this paper discusses the English translation of the museum of cultural relics. Skopos theory argues that decided the main factors of the translation process are the purpose of the whole translation behavior. Version of the expected objective decision methods and strategies of translation, in the process of translation should follow three principles, namely the objective principle, the consistent principle and faithful principle; principle aim is at the head of the other two principles, the museum aims to research, education and appreciation, spreading knowledge, education to the public. According to skopos theory, the museum of cultural relics introduced translation should achieve this purpose, and according to the purpose to take appropriate translation principles and strategies.This article first chapter preliminary museum translation research background is introduced, the theoretical framework. I have introduced the cultural relics and the related concept. The third chapter introduces the significance of the development of the skopos theory and translation of museum. The fourth chapter has carried on the case analysis to Jingzhou museum, speak Jingzhou museum of cultural relics and the combination of skopos theory, introduces the five high-quality goods of Jingzhou museum of cultural relics, discussed the fectors affecting the translation of Jingzhou museum of cultural relics, and the influence of the reader and the translator to Jingzhou museum of cultural relics. The fifth chapter made a summary about the whole article, and points out the deficiency of research and its influence to the later research.
