The form of arts district crashed into a high-profile attention in the Post-industrial Age, carrying the connotation of modern art, and showed strong vitality to humans. Accompanied by the interpretation of arts district form factor, development model, the presence status,etc.,by scholars from various countries, the "Art District Mode" theory formed gradually. Lacquer art, a traditional form of Chinese art, contains a wealth of historic and cultural connotations. However, it is facing the danger of marginalization in the modern knowledge era.Therefore, the core of this paper is about a combination of both, exploring the possibility of a wide range of lacquer through the "Art District Mode".Conducting research and demonstration according to the logical order from method to practice, from concrete to abstract, from the particular case to a general theory. Firstly, the features of "Art District Mode" were summed up based on the analysis of existing research results. Subsequently, analysis concerning current status of the lacquer development was performed and shortcomings were demonstrated. Therefore, possibilities of the development path of lacquer diversification under the background of "Arts District Mode" were analyzed. Finally, measures of the development path of lacquer arts were proposed by utilizing the "Art District Mode" according to the inadequate development of lacquer art. These four solutions includes revival of lacquer, path of multiple propagation, road of Life aesthetics, path of Creative industries.Summarized basic theory of the "Arts District Mode",and started new ways of lacquer modern development.
