Helping behavior is pro-social behavior as a form of expression, especially the pro-social behaviorin specific individuals or groups of objects, is a measure of the scale of social morality, but in today’ssociety, affected by various negative "Helping case", humanity has been questioned, the traditionalmoral education has been challenged.Through the study of junior high school students’ helping behaviorand study, can make people more clear understand the factors that influence on helping behavior, alsocan help educators develop physical and mental development of moral content in line withstudents.Research indicates that empathy is the fundamental factor for helping behavior after a disaster(trouble) event occurs, they can evoke empathy individuals sad emotions largely. In order to regain asense of pleasure, the individual through helping behavior to reduce the sad mood, then the internalethical standards, they had learned in their daily learning will affect the formation of the individual tomake actions are consistent with the inherent moral standards naturally.In this study, the research object is180junior high school students,the main use of the scenarioexperiment to study high school students how to make helping behavior in face of help recipientsscenario, and by measuring the levels of empathy and moral disengagement degree to understand whichhelps people with mental. According to the following conclusions:(1) helping behavior of junior highschool students decreased with growth of the grade in general, the female’s helping behavior is oftenhigher than the same period of male’s, the decline was significantly lower than that of the male; studentsin Grade one have the lowest moral disengagement; in Grade2reached its peak; when in Gade3,it has adownward trend,however,it still higher than in Grade1, in the whole progress the overall inverted a "U"shaped distribution. Male’s moral disengagement was significantly higher than that of the same period offemale’s; levels of empathy has a downward trend,with the grade increasing, the female’s level ofempathy is significantly higher than that of the same period of men.(2) there was a significant negativecorrelation between empathy and moral disengagement (3) levels of empathy significantly predictedhelping behavior, but by the impact of high moral disengagement, empathic individuals do notnecessarily exhibit the helping behavior, moral disengagement plays a partial mediating role betweenempathy and helping behavior. According to the research conclusion, this paper provides the following suggestions: strengthen theeducation for educators of school moral education; role-play and conflict scenario training; combinationof reinforcement with punishment. |
