Roots Tradition Based On Age

With society progressing, erhu playing is becoming more and more prevailing throughout China, andit represents the beauty and glittering of Chinese folk instruments. Over the last100years, inheritingChinese traditional culture and absorbing the essence of western culture, erhu playing and performance ispushed into a new phase in which forms of the performances vary and develop, and now it matures andoptimizes.Combining the existing study on erhu playing art, this dissertation is focused on the current varying inerhu music composing and performance. From the perspective of several erhu playing concerts, thisdissertation analyzes and summarizes the trend of erhu art varying, among which four concerts play aimportant role in offering totally new details of playing skills and performance scenery and prospect of erhuplaying art.This dissertation consists of introduction, body and conclusion. The first chapter of the body isconcerning relevant study and general development of diversification of erhu playing culture in China. Thesecond chapter is concerning the diversification of erhu music composing, and a specific erhu playingperformance presented in a closing ceremony of Erhu Art Festival is cited to introduce the boom of erhumusical production. The third chapter is concerning the diversification of erhu performance art and concert,and three instinct erhu concerts are cited to demonstrate the multi-dimensional diversification of erhuconcert.
