A Research On The "Bohemian" Cultural Phenomenon In The History Of Western Music

Bohemian culture is an important cultural phenomenon in Europe, the culture which was born in Czech in the early nineteenth Century, and was very popular in France from the first half of the nineteenth Century to the late twentieth Century, had spread quickly and widely in Europe, formed a remarkable cultural phenomenon in twentieth Century. It affects many aspects of the western modern history, and show up the pluralistic phenomenon in the history of western music, not only enriches and broadens the modern western arts, but also has an important influence on the development of western modern art.Given the domestic and international researches, music experts and theorists have pay attention to the Bohemian music culture. From the decade of the1830’s to the early twentieth Century, international researches about the Bohemian are very rich, but mainly from the angle of history and literature, music less. Domestic researches about the Bohemian culture is in the primary stage, many researches studied from the angle of history, the sociology of art and aesthetics, still almost blank in the music field. This paper will examine the Bohemian music culture in the history of western music, not only can fill the gaps in the field of music, also be able to enrich and perfect the study of the history of western music culture.This paper is divided into three sections. The first chapter is the explain of "Bohemian" cultural phenomenon in western music history, the first section defines "Bohemian" concept, the second section analyzes the cultural phenomenon in the history of western music. The second chapter analyzes "Bohemian" music features in the history of western music, the first section analyzes the music characteristics of local musicians, the second section analyzes the music features of non local artists. The third chapter explains the correlation between "Bohemian" music culture and music creation, the first section analyzes the Bohemian music culture and music creative thought, the second section is the analysis of music creative emotion under the Bohemian music culture. This paper studies the Bohemian music culture phenomenon from the history, cultural, musicology angles, analyzes the positive influence of the special music culture in the history of western music.
