Research On Optical Illusions And Pattern Based On Optical Art

This paper presents the discussion and research on optical illusions and pattern of optical art (op art). The history of development shall be combed and analyzed on the first stage; the relationship with other artistic forms, the development situation of different regions, typical works of representatives shall also be analyzed. Furthermore, the relationship between op art and optical illusions shall be elaborated. Analysis on reasons of visual hallucination creation shall be carried out to highlight the analysis of the formal structure and color aesthetics relevant contents and so on. Through the visual phenomenon created from optical illusions to discuss intrinsic characteristics and manifestation. Therefore, the possibility of changes in optical illusions and patterns could be discussed. Start with optical illusions and pattern relationship, analysis shall be done within the application of optical illusions in various design areas, and investigation shall be conducted for the textile design thought and presentation of pattern that equipped with optical illusion style characteristics; where, elaborated on themes, presentation and aesthetic expression in textile of optical illusion deigns would be taken as concrete representation. On the basis of this, by the study of design practice and final year project case study, optical illusion style characteristic pattern designs and practice innovations would be implemented, and then, experimental design attempt could be conducted with combination of textile carrier. Therefore, new manner and style could be added in pattern designs. At the same time, particular theoretical research and practical basis also would be provided for textile designs, which have optical illusion style characteristics.
