Research of the Chinese monographs reiterative is the important link of the study of thehistory of Chinese word. Yu Tai Xin Yong is one of the important works of the research onChinese vocabulary, the book records more eight hundred and seventy anthologies and fromhan dynasty to liang dynasty, and it has corpus value.Because of our predecessors’ studies of vocabulary is insufficient, so we tries to makemore efforts in this respect, and we select the reiterative in Yu Tai Xin Yong to do someresearch.The paper contains five parts:Chapter one: Category and formation of reiterative in Yu Tai Xin YongIn this chapter, we make all overall description and classification of the category andcomposition way of reiterative in Yu Tai Xin Yong.Chapter two: Syntax position of reiterative in Yu Tai Xin YongOn the basis of Fengshengli’s theory of prosodic word, this chapter describes andsummarizes the syntax position of the reiterative from Chinese classical poem, the poem withfive characters to a line, the poem with six characters to a line and the poem with sevencharacters to a line in Yu Tai Xin Yong in detail.Chapter three: Syntax function of reiterative in Yu Tai Xin YongIn this chapter, we describe and summarize the reiterative of the book from the syntaxfunction and the use of frequency detailedly by the graph and text combination way.Chapter four: Rhetorical function of reiterative in Yu Tai Xin YongWe summarize the rhetorical function of reiterative, such as simulate the sound andhuman expressions, render the artistic conception, heighten the emotion, harmonious tune.Chapter five: Investigation of reiterative of Yu Tai Xin YongIn this chapter, we make an investigation about reiterative from the diachronic andsynchronic perspective, the relationship between reiterative form and meaning,“何” appendsdisyllable reiterative and reiterative joined to reiterative these four aspects.
