This thesis is using “self-expression” of the Chinese female artists’ art as its theme, timeas its main clue, the three stages of art morphology that is full of the methodology of typicalfeminist in the history of Chinese arts development as its main research object (from a maleaesthetic standards and male chauvinism thesis, women ’s oppression and its artistic ideology,change its theme to seek a breakthrough in the era of individuality, and head to the unofficial,de-politicized freedom of expression with distinct characteristics to feminist ideology). Using therepresentative from all the stages of the artists and their works to analyze the experience of theChinese female artists in the process of era transition and the attitude of “femininity” and“self-expression” in their works of art, and extended to the contradiction between thecontemporary female’s art application materials and its awkward position. In addition, explorewhether the history of Chinese contemporary art is the inheritance of western art history of writingformat or the extension of it from the perspective of ideology and art schools. Moreover,demonstrate the impact to art development of the “self-expression” femininity of Chinese femaleart. The creation of “self-expression” is extremely individualized way to express and convey thehuman-oriented humanistic care that is independent of the male artists’ sociological view andtheir ideology.
