This paper selected four overseas students from Thailand and four undergraduate students studying inHenan Normal University, combined with the problems in my teaching process, to make a pronunciationstatement PPT through the representative words, this experiment finished the recording in the voicelaboratory Henan Normal University, and made a post processing by modern voice software. This paperapplied the theory and method of phonetic space analysis, at the same time, applied the theory andthinking of the sound pattern, made use of the research research result of Svantesson and modern speechsoftware Cooledit, Mini-Speech-Lab and so on, to get spectral centroid for each speaker in Thailang andthe degree of dispersion, and the corresponding G value, D value and the average value, and made africative space pronunced by Chinese and Thai people, which can make a comparison of acousticcharacteristics of4Chinese and4Thai people pronounced3clear strong fricatives and1voicesd fricative, meanwhile the author made a conclusion that the distribution range of Chinese fricative pronunciation is setin Thailand, fricative distribution range of speakers and widely scattered, and there are manydoublications in the bound of these fricatives. At the same time, through the fricative pattern charts fromThailand speakers, the author summed up the Chinese fricative r[] and x[] can be used by Thailandstudents as to their acquisition of pronunciation is similar with China students, especially r[]; singleconsonant []; but single does not exist in Thai language, which is the important cause confused Thailandstudent who can’t distinguish [s] and [].
