Aiming to illustrate the importance of a precisesubtitle translation, this report gives translation background of this translating practice,detailed translation process and elaborate case analysis respectively. Besides, thereport takes the culture-loaded words, redundant words, long and complex sentences,non-subject sentences etc. as an example and explain how to retain the features in thesource TV products during the translation process. The writer finds that a goodsubtitle translation can also be improved from the following aspects: the properdelivering of the cultural connotation; proper use of translation techniques intranslating Chinese dialects; written language not allowed when translating spokenlanguage.Through this translation practice, the writer knew that the seemingly simplesubtitle translation contains great knowledge inside.
