In1940s, Chinese and international researchers studied on the definition andfunction of "face". However, there is little evidence to support the researches, especiallyon face stressor and how people coping with it. This paper aims to study androgynouscollege students’ opinions and coping strategies on face stressors. From the perspectiveof cultural psychology and cross-cultural psychology, and through the researchparadigm of cultural-priming, this paper will study Androgynous students’ behaviorsand coping strategies in different cultural environments. The research methods areliterature review and questionnaires from college students in Chengdu. This study willselect androgynous students based on "BSRI", and then investigate their behaviors andface stressors by three questionnaires:"college students face pressure event table""advance to avoid no face""save face".The studies found that:(1)Androgynous college students who come from different background havedifferent needs of face and response differently.(2)No matter what kind of gender culture priming is, the male students gethigher face stress scores (more than3.5) and there is a significant difference in facepressure among male students from different cultures.
