The New Vietnam’s Generation Film Director In The Era Of Renovation

Vietnamese film industry has gone through ups and downs with the Vietnamese national history of several stages since its birth in the year of1953. Among them, the innovation period (since1986) marked the Vietnamese turning point of economy and society as well as literary and artistic. During this period of time, Vietnamese directors not only inherit the innovative ideas and artistic achievements of their predecessors, but also discover and find new things and more daring expression. Therefore, this study is full of significance to understand the development of Vietnam movies and future prospects of Vietnam movies of from the perspective of intergenerational this generation as well as their creative director for a more systematic study a complete.This study researches the film directors and their films of period of Vietnam and focus on the five representative directors such as Dang Nhat Minh, Viet Linh, Le Hoang, Nguyen Thanh Van and Luu Trong Ninh then point out achievements and problems of this generation during the period of the innovation time.This thesis includes the following four chapters.
