Discussion On Female Perspective In Lingshuhua’s Novel Greation

Since the liberation of thought was bought by the "May Fourth Movement", Lin Shuhua had grown up among the female writes affected by the influence of the New Culture Movement. Her novels focus on the women in the background of the changing times, some of these women struggled hardly in the traditional chains, some were stuck in the cultural interlayer and degenerated, some sought themselves through a loving marriage. In her works, she wrote with a veiled style which contains subtle irony towards the feudal code of ethics or the characters of their own. Xia Zhiqing once said:"Speaking of creative talent, these people do not compare with Ling Shuhua","these people" refers to the contemporaneous female writers. The reason Lin Shuhua received such a high rate own much to her feminine angle of view expressed in her novels.This paper discusses the perspective of women in Ling Shuhua’s novels, firstly analyzes feminist literature survey briefly in the twenties, of all the feminist literary tide, Ling Shuhua’s female perspective is not of concerned, the fundamental reason is her view of female, people felt that she depicted the women in the changing times with a compared traditional point of view,in fact, she was always exploring from the aspect of women themselves, she regarded the women in changing times with the feminist perspective who owned high cultural accomplishment. In the feminist perspective, the female image in her novels is as vivid as living women, they can be roughly divided into four categories:"boudoir maidens","old married women in family","new intellectual women in family" and "mother", the fate of women in her novels, was mostly tragedy, Lin examine the tragedy of the female with the internal perspective of women, thinking of the circumstances the women in on many sides, how does one become a "woman" in the history of the transformation, and accept its existence as "materials". Feminine perspective in the novels of Lin is out of the main stream, she thought the conflict between history and female, described the damage feminine suffered from the old cultural psychology accompanied with the conception "women", despised the feminist vulgar which abandoned Chinese and Western cultural essence, and at the same time, she also explored women’s way out, women’s trying to get their subjectivity, the pursuit of self identity and self road, all embodied the awakening of female self-consciousness, notably, the search for themselves is always confined in the "wife" role, they wouldn’t destroy the marriage relationship, this also shows the tolerant side of Lin’s female perspective, besides, the inner fissility and complicated emotional world of women also shows up. Women obtain autonomy with the external factors, but the self rely on "foreign" are actually is the negation of self. Compared with the contemporary female writers, female perspective in Lin’s novels may not conform to the mainstream of the times, but in fact conform with the realities of that time, the description is more close to the feminine whose thought was just sprouted, especially in traditional family. Ling Shuhua put her thinking on women’s experience into the works, different narrative tone, the special plots in the works, the descriptions of female psychology in the changing times show a unique feminine angle of view from a female writer.
