Theory Of Jian Xianai’s Country Novels Creation

Jian Xianai in simple style writes hometown--the social landscape of Guizhou, because of the unique regional description in the fiction, he became one of the rural novel writers in the1920s. This article intends to study local novels created by Jian Xianai in the1920s and1930s, then analyzes the ideological content and artistic characteristics of local novels of this period.First, this paper discusses the theoretical construction of Chinese modern native literature theory and the development skeleton of the actual creation in the1920s and1930s,then introduces Jian Xianai’s road of local literature in this creation background. Second, the paper systematically analyzes the ideological content about Jian Xianai’s native novels from the performance of local customs and practices and the life form, digging out the critical consciousness and enlightenment in Jian Xianai’s native novels.Finally, the paper discusses Jian Xianai’s artistic characteristics from the line drawing, dialect and the novel’s denouement, reflecting about Jian Xianai’s novels artistic level.
