The New Theory Of Rou Shi

Rou Shi is one of the very well-known Five martyrs, from which the study on Rou Shi started In the past and reached the wrong point. This paper breaks the thinking set. It starts to research from Rou Shi’s works and original documents such as diary, letters etc. and makes a new delimitation by the time when Rou Shi joined the League of the Left Wing Writers. The main view is:Rou Shi’s works had represented the nature of the May-Fourth Literature and reached his writing peak just before the time when he joined the LLWW. After that he changed his writing style and started writing the political things, which made his writing drop in both quantity and quality until he fell in his low water. In the end Rou Shi failed in the change of writing style.
