Nature is an important concept in the scope of the Cheng Hao s dao philosophical system;it is linked with the heaven and the existence of all things. In terms of ontology, nature fromthe heaven and containing a complete heaven is unifying the heaven and the people, and allthings. From the ontological point of view, nature is the essential basis for the existence of allthings, is the reason for the thing that is a matter of fundamental prescriptive, and so nature isalso the basis that all things distinguished. On the level of the existence, there are threemeaning about nature, which are existence, essence, and change, that is an important part ofhis nature theory. Cheng Hao s theory of nature explores ideas and meanings of all thingsnature from two different dimensions, and thus shows a richness of his theory of nature, which is the focus of this paper.Meanwhile, starting from these two dimensions, Cheng Hao s Humanity Thought alsoshowed a different connotation of the real human nature and body human nature. From thepoint of view of reality, people have different manifestations of good and evil. Good and evilcome from the source based on human Original nature to realize it or not. If a person is liableto realize their original nature, it is goodness, otherwise it is evil. This is the salient featurethat Cheng Hao explains good and evil. Judging from the angle of the Ontology, the humanbeing endows heaven. Heaven is not a particular good, but goodness itself. Therefore, the rootcause of the goodness is the heaven that Human nature contains. This is an important aspectof Cheng Hao s theory of Human nature. On the whole, Cheng Hao considered heaven as his highest category of philosophy andexplored he nature with it, thereby forming the body meaning of his nature theory. But on theother hand, Cheng Hao also did not ignore the existence of specific content, so he considerednature as the essence of all things, given the nature connotation in reality. This is a majorfeature of Cheng Hao s thought, and has also become an important breakthrough in hisphilosophy.
