Along with the development and enhancement of Chinese economy and international influence, the number of people studying Chinese language has significantly increased, nowadays, there are more and more Malaysian people studying Chinese language, at the same time, the research of Malaysian student’s Chinese language learning, has also become a new popular field of research. But caused many difficulties due to the Chinese unique historical background and language to non-native language learners, we must learners whose mother tongue is Chinese were analysed to identify the different things in common, in order to identify the most favorable learning methods.Chinese and Malay Languages have significant differences in word orders and expressions, Malaysian students often encounter word order errors in their Chinese Language learning process. Comparatively speaking, passives are more frequently used in Malay than in Chinese. The first chapter of this paper analyzes the passive sentence structure in Chinese.The second chapter analyzes the similarities and differences of passives between Chinese and Malay, and the third chapter analyzes the cause of the error. The last chapter contains recommendations for future references.
