Taiwanese Poem is one of modern poetry,which writes in Hokkien dialect.It’s avernacular poetry creation trend,which rises in Taiwan in the80s.The development inTaiwan has its specific historical and cultural background.It with dialect as the carrierof art style,so that it has its characteristic of the connotation of form and content.Inmany cases,the critics of Taiwanese and the artists of Taiwanese sing to eachother.They advertise that Taiwanese poetry can express the creativity and uniquenessof "Taiwan spirit”.They try to build the "Taiwan people”’s language by Taiwaneseliterature,which takes Taiwanese poetry as a representative.In Taiwanese poem,Wecan find the closely linked of Hokkien dialect,artistic image and ideologicalfactors.we can understand the complex relationship between dialects andliterature,experience and image,art and ideology through the interpretation andanalysis since the1980s Taiwanese poetry.And we can rectify the overly ideologicaltendency of criticism of Taiwanese poetry and Taiwanese Literature in Taiwan. So asto achieve "radical reform"and obtain impartial evaluation about Taiwanesepoetry.This thesis has three chapters,and they are stated as follows:The chapter one starts from the linguistic form of Taiwanese poetry.It examinesthe language path of Taiwanese poetry by analyzing the vocabulary,the grammar, thewriting and language songs feature.On the one hand,Taiwanese poetry vocabularycontains ancient Chinese,Japanese,English and other local slang,but its main sourcesstill derived from the ancient Chinese,and Taiwanese poetry grammars alsotrue.Taiwanese poetry is still a Chinese dialect literature.One the other hand,Thenotation of Taiwanese poetry is mainly divided into pure Chinese writing and themixed writing about Chinese and Roma language.The notation of Taiwanese poetrysubject to many of the affected,such as the colonists of aggression,the localconsciousness and the shape of ideology.The mixed writing about Chinese and Romalanguage is been advocated and used by Taiwanese poet,because it can be closer toHokkien pronunciation and to meet the purpose of the anti-Chinese hegemony.Butthis does not change the fact that it slaves Hokkien and Chinese.Finally, the creationof Taiwanese poetry influenced by Hokkien dialect.It has a rich musical.The chapter two researches the three key images of Taiwanese poetrywriting.The first is the "land" imagery,which as a symbol of Taiwanese homes.Itbecomes a vivid portrayal of personal memory,historic pain and modern plight.Thesecond is the "Ocean" image,which contains philosophizing and the consciousness ofmaking sea for the field in Taiwan people.It has heavy colonial memories,and theideological tendencies of"Continental awareness".The third is "birds" image,which isthe messenger of hometown and the vulnerable individuals of the epitome,and reflectsthe strong desire to seek spiritual home of the poet.The chapter three researches creation of Taiwanese poetry from the perspectiveof cultural. Firstly, Hokkien dialect influences Taiwanese poetry writing throughentrepreneurial spirit, awareness of unexpected development and the psychology offounding.Secondly,Taiwanese poetry has a strong"local consciousness",and appearsby his homeland,social care and Taiwanese consciousness in the Taiwanese poem,namely hometown-society-presents.Finally,the public stance represents afundamental value and the direction of Taiwanese Literature, and civil orientation andposition directly or indirectly affect the mode of transmission,writing resources, theperformance of content and value judgments of Taiwanese poetry writing.
