The Research On Su Boheng

Most of the research on Su Boheng in recent ten years are scattered, not systematic analysis.In this paper, through the reseach on Su Boheng’ life, the thought and the causes of Su Boheng,Su’s prose and poetry, and the status and comments about Su Boheng in the Chinese literaryhistory, and the analysis on the deep literary value, cultural value and practical significance, wecan have a overall cognition on this famous writer in the late Yuan Dynasty.First of all, the article summarizes the family inheritance of Su Boheng started by Su Zhegeneration, and briefly sums up Su Boheng’s life story.Secondly, the article divides Su Boheng’s poetry into three categories by the content: Poetrythat lament or rejoice at something(the farewell poems mainly), poems on objects and poems onnatural scenery, and analyzes the poetry’s artistic style called tender&convert in the text. Also, itdivides Su’ s prose into two categories: argumentation and narration, and summerizes the threeartistic features.Third, the article analyzes Su Boheng’s thought that Confucianism is the foundation, Taoismis an important part, and the Buddhist culture is fully included and accepted. And it analyzed thereason of the thought on background from the end of Yuan to the beginning of Ming, nationalpolicy, family tradition and social status and other aspects.Finally, the article analyzes Su Boheng status in literary history of China as the East ZhejiangSchool’s linking and the inheritor of his family’s theory.
