In recent years, with the booming of academic research on language learningstrategies, vocabulary learning strategies also gained attention highlighted. Vocabularymemory strategy as an important part of vocabulary learning strategies, is an effectivemeans of acquisition of vocabulary, its role is self-evident.However, research show that at present domestic vocabulary memory strategies studymainly concentrated in English, Russian and so on,the research of Uygur vocabularymemory strategies were not so many, vocabulary memory has became an importantproblem of the Uygur language major students. This research take the undergraduatestudents of Uyghur language major as the research object, Through the questionnairesurvey and the vocabulary test, to master the usage of students’ memory strategies, studythe similarities and differences of the usage of vocabulary memory strategies among thestudents with superior and poor vocabulary test scores, according to the problems existingin utilizing vocabulary memory strategy of students, proposed from the perspective ofteachers and students, in order to providing certain help for the students of Uygur major tomemory the Uygur vocabulary. |
