Study On Mental Health Intervention Of Adolescent Migrants

Mental health intervention targets refer to the intended purpose of intervention toachieve, including the importance of the intended purpose, experience and behavioraltendencies. Acceptance of intervention approaches refer to the degree of individual iswilling to accept different approaches of mental health intervention. Mental healthintervention goals and methods are important part of mental health intervention system.Researching on characteristics and influencing factors of mental health interventiontargets and acceptance of intervention approaches in adolescent migrants, it can providemental health intervention with theoretical basis and reference; also it will improveeffectiveness of mental health intervention. Therefore, there is important significancenot only for the comprehensive development of adolescent migrants, but also enrichingthe psychological theory of adolescent health psychology.In this study, the theoretical conception of mental health intervention targets andacceptance of intervention approaches has been proposed on the basis of literatureanalysis and open questionnaire. It prepares the adolescent migrants’ mental healthintervention targets’ questionnaire and intervention approaches acceptance’squestionnaire with good reliability and validity. Then make a survey of562adolescentmigrants with the questionnaire in order to study their characteristics of mental healthintervention targets and acceptance of intervention approaches, and analyze therelationship between quality of life, coping style, mental health intervention targets andacceptance of intervention approaches. The main conclusions in this study are asfollows:①Mental health intervention targets is a multi-layer and multi-dimension system,which including importance of survivability targets, need of survivability targets,participation of survivability targets, importance of developmental targets, need ofdevelopmental targets, participation of developmental targets, there are six dimensionsin all.②Acceptance of intervention approaches includes three dimensions such ascognitive approach, emotional approach, and behavioral approach.③In terms of mental health intervention targets, there are significant differencesand significant interactions between gender, grade, academic result, whether they aremigrants and family economic situation. ④In terms of acceptance of intervention approaches, there are significantdifferences and significant interactions between genders, whether they are the only child,academic result and whether they are migrants.⑤Three is a significant correlation between quality of life, coping style, mentalhealth intervention targets, acceptance of intervention approaches.⑥Quality of life and coping style have significant predictive power to mentalhealth intervention targets and acceptance of intervention approaches.⑦The mediating effects of coping style are significant between quality of life andmental health intervention targets, quality of life and acceptance of interventionapproaches.⑧Interview results verify the theoretical structure of mental health interventiontargets and acceptance of intervention approaches. The performance of respondents isdifferences in need of survivability targets and acceptance of intervention approaches.The study used a variety of methods to explore the characteristics of mental healthintervention targets and acceptance of intervention approaches, and analyze the relatedfactors. It can provide mental health intervention with reference for adolescent migrants.
